Creative to Build Green

Creative Contractors has been selected to build the new Dunedin Community
Center in Pinellas County, FL.  The 42,000 sq. ft., $8.4 million building includes
a large multi-purpose room with a stage and basketball court, classrooms,
a kitchen, offices, dance and exercise rooms, and a fitness center. The architect is Collman & Karsky Architects of Tampa, FL.

The building has been designed to obtain L.E.E.D. (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification upon completion.  L.E.E.D. is the national standard developed by the U.S. Green Building Council for sustainable design and construction.  The building will be 30% more energy efficient, will utilize many recycled and locally produced materials, and construction waste will be recycled.

Creative Contractors is a Founding Member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and is excited to be a part of this important community project.
